Jiangxi University of TCM - China

After completing school, I wanted to become a doctor. I was stressed for my graduation as I was interested in MBBS but it is too expensive to study in India and for general category, the chance of getting a government medical college is very rare. I scored 412 marks (57 percentile) in NEET but it was not enough. I considered a lot of countries before finally choosing China. Mainly because my maternal uncle, who himself was studying MBBS in China, suggested to me to come to China and study there.

In 2015, I got admission in the Jiangxi University of TCM, Nanchang, China. And I finally, reached here on 21st November 2015. There are almost 500 Indian students studying at my university, it doesn't feel like I am in China. The whole course is taught in English so there is no language barrier. In fact, most of the professors are from India, Nepal, or Bangladesh. All these professors are doctors themselves.

MBBS programme at Jiangxi University is of 6 years including a 1-year internship.  It is also recognised from MCI so there will be no problem in appearing for FMGE once you’re done with your MBBS. Indian food is not a problem for there are many Indian canteens here plus you get can groceries from an Indian Grocery store and cook for yourself.

China is a beautiful country which is too much advanced in terms of technology. Chinese language (Mandarin) is difficult to write but it's much too easy to speak and can easily be learnt in 1 year. The Chinese language will be taught by the University to improve your lifestyle in China. Contrary to the popular belief, Chinese people are very helpful and they are quite kind-hearted towards foreigners. They are mostly focused only on their own business.
